For anyone who loves horses it’s impossible to come out to the rescue and not absolutely fall in love with at least one of the horses here. This is what we want for every one of these wonderful horses. They deserve forever, loving homes. And the ReHorse Rescue Horses will be placed in only these type of homes.

It is our responsibility to these horses to make sure they stay safe and are never subject to the same treatment or circumstances they came from. We have an application process, which includes verification of vet, farrier and personal references. We also do a site visit to make sure that the property and or facility is set up safely and properly. In addition to the site visit and application process, all adopters must sign and agree to all terms of our adoption contract.

Many of the horses here at ReHorse came to us because of inexperienced owner’s, owners experiencing financial difficulties and the worst would be irresponsible owners that just didn’t care. All adopters must be aware and educated about the care and cost involved in responsible horse ownership. These horses and their care and safety can be costly and require an unconditional commitment.

Many of the horses available for adoption have special needs and or behaviors that need to be addressed. All medical and or behavioral issues known to ReHorse Rescue Ranch will be disclosed to any and all potential adopters. ReHorse Rescue Ranch recommends that all potential adopters have any horse selected for adoption evaluated by a veterinarian at their cost to determine if any medical conditions other than known by ReHorse Rescue Ranch exist.
